Motorcycle Trailer Tips:
#1 – Make sure you know how to trailer your motorcycle correctly! Make sure your bike is strapped up tight and attached to the wheel chock correctly, and double check to make sure everything is secure.
#2- Use the right equipment! When it comes time to buy motorcycle chocks and accessories you want to make sure you purchase a products made from quality steel that fits your bike appropriately. Use tie-down straps and not bungee cords, as this is less safe and could come undone while on the road. Our Lock ‘N Load tire tie down system avoids putting excessive strain on the front fork assembly of your motorcycle which can mean the difference between a simple trailer experience and an expensive mistake.
#3- Verify that your environment is clean and adequate for the job - you want to load everything on a flat, even surface. Make sure any clutter or spills are taken care of so you don’t slip and fall and hurt yourself or your bike. Remove parts and accessories from the trailer bed surface and leave yourself room to maneuver the motorcycle.
#4- Use common sense! Don’t sit on your bike while it’s being loaded and don’t leave it running unattended. What you DO NOT want to do is what this guy does!
